Nexson group has delivered 16 tailor-made heat exchangers for a major fpso project.

Nexson Group once again confirms its position as a key player in Heat Exchangers for the Oil & Gas industry with the successful delivery of 16 units for a MEG (Monoethylene Glycol) regeneration unit.

Designed and manufactured at our French facilities, this project demonstrates Nexson’s unique ability to integrate multiple technologies into complex industrial processes and environments. To meet the critical demands of our customer, Nexson delivered a global solution powered by three core technologies:

  • 4 Welded Plate Heat Exchangers (GreenBox – API810): Engineered as high-efficiency MEG regeneration condensers.
  • 8 Spiral Plate Heat Exchangers (GreenSpiral™ – API664): The ultimate solution for MEG heating; specifically designed to handle salt-laden fluids and eliminate fouling risks.
  • 4 Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers (API667): Providing maximum thermal performance for the final cooling of the process.

Product-Driven Performance

The strength of this package lies in the technological mix. By integrating our Spiral Plate Heat Exchangers for the critical pre-treatment of salt-rich glycol, we provide maximum reliability where conventional technologies would typically fail due to clogging.
