Looking Back at the Nevers Marathon by Nexson: A Sporting Celebration in the Heart of the Nièvre
On November 23 and 24, the legendary Nevers Magny-Cours circuit became the stage for remarkable athletic achievements, hosting the Nevers Marathon by Nexson, now a key event in France’s running calendar. As the main partner, we highlighted our commitment to the Nièvre region’s vitality and values of perseverance, perfectly embodied by this competition.
As the primary sponsor, Nexson reaffirmed its role in supporting local initiatives. This collaboration with La French Run promotes the region and its talents while reflecting our core values of excellence and sustainability.

A Unique Course Blending Heritage and Nature
The marathon began on the Formula 1 asphalt of Magny-Cours, offering participants a one-of-a-kind experience. Runners traversed picturesque landscapes, including the Loire lateral canal and landmarks such as Château du Sallay. The grand finale unfolded beneath the Porte de Paris in Nevers, a scene filled with emotion for all involved.
Events for Everyone
The weekend offered a variety of races: the solo and duo marathon, half-marathon, Ekiden relay, Lap, and even a kids’ race. These formats brought together athletes of all levels, providing personal challenges or collective experiences. More than just a race, the event united families, friends, and companies in a joyful and athletic gathering.
