SPHE – TYPE 2 – COLUMN BIPHASIC APPLICATIONS

Nexson GREENSPIRAL™ Type 2 column heat exchanger is ideal to handle biphasic applications where condensing is required for vapors, with or without inert gases, evaporation of large flows and when low pressure drop is required, such as near vacuum applications.

The GREENSPIRAL™ Type 2 column heat exchanger unique design features can be used for condensing and boiling duties between two gases or a liquid to gas system. In condenser mode, the vapor circulates in a crossflow manner, in a fully opened channel with negligible pressure drop, and the coolant media circulates in a closed spiral channel. In evaporator or reboiler mode, the tough media circulates in an adjusted channel gap, fully opened that is ideal for fouling fluids. The GREENSPIRAL™ Type 2 column heat exchanger in either mode, offers easy access for inspections and/or mechanical cleaning.
